Naz Badat appointed as the Chairman of GDFM

We are pleased to announce that, following his recent appointment as a senior adviser, Naz Badat will be taking on the newly created role of Chairman at GD Financial Markets. In this role Naz will work with the other directors to ensure focus on GDFM’s strategic development.

Naz brings considerable experience to the role with more than 30 years of experience in Financial Services covering Finance, Operations and business roles at Morgan Stanley, UBS and HSBC. Most recently, he was the COO for the Markets Business in HSBC where he had responsibility for the organisational, process/technology and regulatory developments in the division. Naz was also a board member of LCH for many years and headed up their Risk Committee.
